Creating an OEM/Private Label Program
A customer manufactured cookie cutters and imported other household products. The client approached us to resource the cookie cutters in China. They were feeling pressure because competitors were lowering prices due to Asian sourcing. The customer wanted to lower pricing through China but had no idea how to do it. They heard ProCorp had the expertise and reputation based on 15 years' experience in China. The customer required 200 unique skus as the cookie cutter category is very prolific in design/shape offerings. We provided the "China connection"- finding the manufacturers, ensuring production quality, managing logistics, and delivering a lower-priced line to the customer on time.
Not only did our customer enjoy lower unit costs and lower tooling costs, they felt so comfortable with our factory, they closed their own factory and disposed of all that plant's fixed assets. As a result, the customer reduced working capital and gained lower costs and flexibility in generating more business from their customers.
